The Game Boy Color release is an upgraded version that uses the same core manual but also includes additional features.

How to play
In the game, you play as Jerry the mouse in a fast-paced platformer. Your goal is to rescue Tuffy, Jerry’s nephew, before Tom can catch him. The Game Boy Color version also has a two-player option, where the second player controls Tufy.
Controls
Move: Use the Control Pad to move Jerry up, down, left, and right.
Jump: Press the A Button to jump.
Run: Press and hold the B Button to run.
Use Marbles: If you collect a marble, press and release the B Button quickly to fire it.
Pause: Press the Start Button to pause and un-pause the game.
Scan Horizon: Press and hold the Select Button while moving the Control Pad to pan the camera.

Game overview
Levels: There are 12 levels in total, which take you through locations such as a movie theater, a junkyard, and inside a house.
Lives: You start with three hearts (lives). You lose a life if you take five hits. Collecting a heart grants an extra life.
Items to collect:
Cheese: Collect these for points.
Clocks: These add 30 seconds to the level timer.
Marbles: A large marble pickup gives you six shots.
Sodas: Collecting four sodas in a level grants an extra life.
Stars: If you have been hit, a star will restore your health.
Passwords: The manual suggests writing down the four-symbol password you receive after completing each world so you can resume your progress later.
