The original Commodore 64 “breadbin” is a classic 1982 home computer, distinguished by its thick, rounded beige plastic case, 64 kilobytes of RAM, and legendary SID sound chip. It earned the nickname “breadbin” after the sleeker, wedge-shaped Commodore 64C came out in 1986.
