True Lies Game Gear
Based on the 1994 film of the same name, True Lies was released for the Sega Game Gear in 1995. It is a top-down, run-and-gun action game developed by Beam Software and published by Acclaim Entertainment. As the secret agent Harry Tasker, players navigate through multiple stages with specific objectives, shooting enemies, and avoiding civilian casualties.
- Missions: The game features nine stages, including a mall, a subway, and an oil refinery. Each stage has specific objectives to complete.
- Weapons: Harry starts with a pistol with unlimited ammunition but can find more powerful weapons, including an Uzi, shotgun, and flamethrower. These additional weapons have limited ammo.
- Avoid civilians: As you shoot enemies, you must not hit civilians. If you kill three in one stage, you lose a life and must restart the level.
- Password feature: The game includes a password feature, allowing players to continue at later stages.
