In Europe, Sonic 3D Flickies’ Island is the title for the game more commonly known as Sonic 3D Blast in North America. It is an isometric platform game released for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and Sega Saturn in 1996.

- Gameplay and story: The game follows Sonic’s quest to save the Flickies, a species of birds, from Dr. Robotnik. Sonic must free the Flickies from their robotic shells and guide them to large rings to return them to their home dimension.
