The Blaze Evercade
cartridge is a collection of six classic arcade games from the Japanese developer Irem. It is compatible with all Evercade consoles and the HyperMegaTech! Super Pocket handhelds.
Included games
This cartridge (number 07 in the Evercade collection) features six titles:
- R-Type: A classic side-scrolling shoot ’em up that is widely considered one of the greatest of its genre.
- Moon Patrol: An early side-scrolling platformer with innovative parallax scrolling that was one of Irem’s first major hits.
- 10-Yard Fight: A fast-paced and straightforward American football arcade game.
- Battle Chopper: Also known as Mr. Heli no Daibōken, this is a challenging helicopter-based shooter.
- Lightning Swords: A hack-and-slash action game set in feudal Japan. The Evercade release was its first official home version.
- In The Hunt: A visually impressive submarine shoot ’em up with underwater and surface-level action.
