G-LOC Air Battle
G-LOC: Air Battle is a classic combat flight simulator video game where the title refers to this physiological phenomenon.
- Gameplay: The player controls an experimental aircraft, the A8M5, in a mission to destroy enemy air and land forces. The game features both first-person and third-person perspectives during evasive manoeuvres.
- Arcade Experience: The original 1990 arcade version was notable for its use of the R360 motion simulator cabinet, which would physically rotate and tilt in response to the pilot’s in-game actions.
- Platforms: It was ported to several home consoles and computers, including the Sega Game Gear, Master System, and Genesis/Mega Drive. The arcade version was first made available on home consoles in 2020 as part of the SEGA AGES series for the Nintendo Switch.
