Todd’s Adventures in Slime World is a cult classic action-adventure platformer developed by Epyx and originally released for the Atari Lynx in 1990. In the game, players take on the role of Todd, an explorer who crash-lands on a planet made entirely of gooey slime.
Gameplay features
The game stands out for its creative platforming, shooting, and puzzle-solving mechanics, and was notable for its multiplayer capabilities. 
  • Unique weaponry: Todd is armed with a water gun that can clear paths through the gooey terrain and defeat enemies.
  • Puzzle-based traversal: Many rooms in the game’s non-linear levels require using Todd’s abilities—such as climbing walls and executing high jumps—in specific ways to navigate.
  • Multiplayer action: Using the Lynx’s ComLynx cable, up to four players can team up for cooperative or competitive slimy adventures.
