Pro Golf ZX Spectrum
On the ZX Spectrum, “Pro Golf” refers to at least two distinct games: a 1986 release from Atlantis Software and a 1990 release from Codemasters titled Pro Golf Simulator.
Pro Golf (1986)
- Developer/Publisher: Atlantis Software.
- Gameplay: A strategic, turn-based golf game with an overhead view of the entire hole on a single screen. Up to four players can compete.
- Mechanics: To play a shot, you must first select a club, then choose the power of the swing. The timing of your button press during the swing determines the shot’s accuracy. A poorly timed press will result in a slice or a hook.
- Features: The game includes real-life courses like Sunningdale and Pebble Beach.
Another great retro game available at Escapist Gamer – VU-3D (ZX Spectrum)
