Game Boy Advance SP Tribal

The Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP Tribal Edition is a silver-coloured handheld console featuring an exclusive “tribal tattoo” design on its shell. As a limited edition item, it is no longer sold brand new but is available on the second-hand market from online retailers and auction sites.

The Tribal Edition has the same features as the standard Game Boy Advance SP, which is a foldable upgrade of the original Game Boy Advance.

Be aware that two different models of the Game Boy Advance SP exist, with a key difference in the screen brightness. When shopping for a Tribal Edition console, check the product details to see if it is an AGS-001 or AGS-101 model.

Power-off screen colour The screen appears noticeably lighter when the power is turned off. The screen is completely black when the power is turned off.
Rarity Is the more common version of the Tribal Edition. Is rarer and thus more expensive.
