Description
Amiga Format Disk 99 Subscriber Superdisk
The Amiga Format Disk 99 Subscriber Superdisk was a floppy disk distributed to subscribers of the Amiga magazine Amiga Format, accompanying issue 99 in July 1997.
While cover disks were included with the regular magazine, subscriber “superdisks” often contained exclusive content not found on the regular cover disks. The complete content for this disk is documented by the Internet Archive:
- Software and Demos: The disk featured a collection of utilities, games, and demos. Highlights included a demo for the platform game Worm War and the “ultimate” version of the classic arcade clone Frogger.
- Articles and Extras: Subscribers received files relating to articles within issue 99, including utilities for the Amiga and exclusive material.
- Preservation efforts: The disk and its contents have been preserved by the Internet Archive and can be downloaded as an
.adffile, a common file format for Amiga disk images. This allows retrocomputing enthusiasts to run the disk on Amiga emulators like WinUAE.
