Amiga Format Arcade Issue 41

Amiga Format Issue 41, published in December 1992, was a special “Arcade” issue that included a cover disk with a number of games and utilities. The magazine itself featured reviews of new Commodore Amiga hardware, including the Amiga 1200 and Amiga 4000. 
Magazine contents
  • Cover story: A reveal of the new Amiga 1200 and a review of the Amiga 4000.
  • Editor: Damien Noonan.
  • Game reviews: The issue contained 22 game reviews and one expansion/data disk review. One of the reviewed titles was Fighter Duel Pro.
  • Other content: Articles covered general Amiga topics, hardware, software, and game releases. 
Cover disks
Issue 41 came with two cover disks. The main disk was labelled “Amiga Format Collection No.9” and contained the following: 
  • Scribble!: An art program.
  • Wordworth 2 demo: A demo version of the word processing software.
  • CG Palacio: A program likely related to graphics or desktop publishing. 
The second disk featured the following: 
  • Nigel Mansell’s World Championship: A playable demo of the racing game.
  • BootX: An anti-virus utility.
  • Bullfrog’s programming tutorial code: A resource for budding programmers.
  • Virus Checker: Another anti-virus utility.
